From the table below, select the desired FSU3 turbulent flux products. All files are
provided on a one-degree latitude and longitude grid. Files are netCDF format and
use the following naming
conventions. The global files combine the grids for the Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific oceans into a single
netCDF file. In addition we provide access to the Zhang and Rossow ISCCP-FD monthly radiation
data set (See below).
NOTE:
New release (v32). This version was created to ensure consistency in variable type for both the data values and the related variable attributes (e.g., actual_range). The present version uses float for latitude and longitude and integer value and attributes for all other variables. The Pacific and Global files are new to release v32. Updates to the Atlantic and Indian files will only affect the type for variable attributes, not the values of the parameters.

Radiative fluxes below are from the ISCCP-FD satellite product and have been re-gridded to match the one-degree FSU3 in-situ product. Shortwave (up and down) and longwave (up and down) at the surface are provided for the same geographic regions covered by the FSU3 Indian, Atlantic, and Pacific products. Note that the re-gridded ISCCP-FD will have values over land, while the FSU3 is an over-water only product.
